Karla Garza

Karla completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders – Speech and Language Pathology. Eager to continue her education, she seamlessly transitioned into the graduate program at UT, where she is currently pursuing advanced studies in Speech and Hearing Language.

Driven by a passion for helping others, Karla obtained her SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) license ahead of schedule. This enabled her to gain valuable experience working with bilingual patients in both public school settings and home health environments.

Throughout her journey at UT, Karla has actively immersed herself in clinical experiences, further honing her skills and knowledge in the field. She has been exposed to diverse populations and settings, enriching her understanding of various communication disorders and treatment approaches.

Committed to making a positive impact, Karla is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their communication goals. She values the importance of providing families with the necessary resources to support their loved ones.
